leave me alone.
@Houlardy642 There are more people that don't know how to script / are beginning to learn how to script than people that are so proficient in scripting to the point where they feel like they can assist others.
Also, it's probably because if they see that a question is already answered, nine times out of ten, it's a really good answer that covers everything and can't be improved without bloating the entire answer. Or they're too lazy to check and instead look for an answer with zero questions. Both are common.
You're forgetting that this is a scripting site dedicated to Roblox. Without this reminder (and necessity), I can guarantee that most of the question titles would simply be "Help!'" or "My code doesn't work."
With the specification reminder in the title, it allows the helpers to understand what they're getting into before they even click the question. I don't want to click a question that says "Help!" just to be greeted with the highest degree of Calculus and Trigoometry.
Also, if your question is simple, there's an extremely high chance that your question has been asked before. Utilize the search bar, why don't you?
Oh, by the way: You can easily make a question more verbose. For example:
My code doesn't work.
=> My code isn't doing what I want it to do.
Animation wont play
=> My animation script doesn't work properly (or) How do I play animations on a player?
How do I make an arc?
=> How do I make an arc that can/will *x,y,z attributes*
Just make your question long but short.
We already have a scripting server. It's called the Sleeping Helpers.
It's more focused around helping people sleep and their best options for optimal sleeping habits/utilities, but there's also side channels that allow you to ask for scripting help (not restricted to Lua, either.)
Sorry to burst your bubble. ._.
Looks like your connection to Scripting Helpers was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
